It is a race against time.

90% of children in developing nations lack access to cardiac care. Limited medical care and extreme poverty keep many children from getting the surgery they need. Without surgery, many of these children may not survive. No child should lose their life because their family cannot afford medical care.

That is why, this week, we are standing in the gap for 8 children who cannot wait.

A little boy and his dad from Uganda sit together in front of a rock wall with a wooden gate. The father is in white. The boy wears a blue and white polo shirt.

Our Cardiac Program is breaking down barriers so every child - no matter where they’re born -has a chance at a healthy life.

Since 2003, LWB, with the help of supporters like you, has saved nearly 1,500 lives. Today, we continue that mission for 8 children in China, India, and Uganda.

Why Your Support Matters

When you give to our 8 Hearts in 8 Days campaign, you are not simply funding a surgery. You are giving a child the chance to run, laugh, play, and thrive. Your gift towards a child’s cardiac care is not only a gift of a surgery but a gift of time and hope. Every dollar goes straight to the surgery that transforms a future of heartbreak into one of possibility.

Will you help us reach our goal of saving
8 Lives in 8 Days?
