Through LWB’s foster care program in Uganda, children who might otherwise grow up in orphanages are instead growing up in families.

When children are raised without the consistent love and attachment of a family, it affects how their brains develop, how they learn to trust others, and how they form relationships for the rest of their lives. Even the best orphanage cannot replace a family.

But through LWB’s foster care program, something remarkable is happening.
Children who once faced life in orphanages are now healing, growing, and building healthy relationships for the future.
