For children like Raufah, born with a complex heart defect, the gift of love was truly lifesaving. Unable to have surgery in her home country of Uganda, LWB arranged for this amazing little girl to travel to India to undergo the critical operation she needed. Over the last 22 years, LWB has helped vulnerable children like Raufah from 22 different countries. We provide medical care to restore their health, schools and learning centers where they can learn and grow, nourishing meals to fuel their bodies, and safe foster homes for those orphaned or abandoned.
