6-year-old Hadley's teacher describes her as a gentle and quiet learner in the classroom. She has mature and responsible studying habits and a deep connection with her friends. Hadley When Hadley grows up she wants to be a good person in society and create a better community.

Myles: Cambodia Believe in Me School

7-year-old Myles is winning the respect of his friends and teachers alike. Each morning he quickly settles himself in his seat and pays close attention to his teacher. He is said to "handle his pencil well" which is definitely needed to form the complex 77 character Khmer Script into an infinite number of words that he is mastering each day. Myles frequently helps his peers understand the daily lessons before he heads out to the playground for break time where he loves to run and play.

Haven: Cambodia Believe in Me School

Haven loves having discussions and working in groups during her lessons and she especially loves learning to read and write new words. While she has a passion for reading, Haven admits that learning and manipulating numbers takes a bit more effort and her current goal is using numbers through 50 to solve problems.

Rosemary: Uganda Education

Rosemary has supported her older sister Grace through her years of health challenges, and she now says that she wants to be a doctor to be able to help heal others. Nina lives in a rural village with her seven siblings. Sadly, the children's father passed away several years ago and their mom is often away for months at a time working in the city to support the family. Without assistance, Nina and her older siblings were going to have to leave school and find jobs. They really wanted to continue their education and study for a better future. Nina is in need of sponsors to help with her education and nutritional support.

LWB’s Sokhem and Rangsei Early Childhood Development Centers care for many of the younger siblings of students attending our Believe in Me schools in Cambodia. Guatemala Education

LWB helps children in rural Guatemala with early childhood intervention, after-school tutoring support, and a catch-up class on the weekends for students who are unable to attend class during the week or have gaps in their education.
