Your support of LWB’s Medical Program provides life-changing surgeries and essential medical care for children with a wide range of medical issues, including heart defects and cleft needs. Sage: India Medical Heart Surgery

Sage was diagnosed with a VSD when she was born, and now as a toddler with recurrent respiratory infections, she needs surgery to repair this heart defect. Her family makes less than $3 a day and cannot afford the cost of her operation. Margie: Unity Initiative Heart Surgery

Margie is the light of her parent's life. When her mother discovered she was pregnant, she was overjoyed. Everything was going well with the pregnancy until doctors discovered on a routine ultrasound that Margie had a heart defect. Since her birth her parents have been taking Margie for regular exams in the hopes that her heart would heal on its own.
